Spider coupling is also called jaw coupling. It is mechanical part mainly used for connecting two rotating shafts in mechanical transmit of torque or rotation angle. The spider coupling is also used for protecting safety devices. The Jaw coupling can not be dismantled when the device is running.
Spider coulings contains two parts: hubs and spider. The material for spider is polyurethane. It has different hardness. 98 shore and 92 shore are often required.
Clamp type and set screw type mounting ways are available for the flexible coupling.
